Location is spectacular however can't comment on the food as we were told the kitchen was closed when we arrived at 5:30pm on Saturday. This is disappointing because the website says the kitchen is open Saturdays for dinner, no mention of reservation being required. Would be nice to have known this in advance.

Popped in this establishment to have a look see if it was worth a visit. Worth a visit? Worth a stay! Only did the beer tasting and a little wine, have to drive away sober, but it is a gem. The location alone is worthy of the trip and we will return to taste the food.
This place is amazing. So much better than Rick Steins where we went last night. Perfect setting, perfect food, perfect service. We had the 3-courses with matching wines and everything was faultless.
We knew the venue was a special location, we didnt know how wonderful the staff would be. From the moment we walked in and were greeted so warmly at the front door, with all staff present wishing my husband a happy birthday, until the moment we left having had champagne on the lawn followed by a long, relaxed lunch for 10 we could not fault the staff, the venue or the delicious food and the price. Will recommend to everyone. Thank you for making my husbands 60th a super special one.
